We’ve just wrapped up Capablanca RC2. As the release cycle draws to a close, this release contains bug fixes, numerous UI tweaks, and a couple of last-minute changes to the new Azure provider.
We’re pleased to announce that the first Capablanca release candidate is now available. Among the improvements in this release since the Beta:
The ManageIQ development team is pleased to announce the availability of the Beta release of Capablanca.
As ManageIQ progresses toward its next milestone release, the development team is pleased to announce the availability of the alpha release of Capablanca.
Reminder that the ManageIQ BoF at Red Hat Summit is today - Thursday, June 25.
Next week (June 23 - June 26) is Red Hat Summit, and we have quite the agenda put together for ManageIQ and CloudForms users.
We’re very happy to announce that ManageIQ Botvinnik is now generally available. This marks the first full release cycle for ManageIQ as an open source project. As mentioned in previous announcements, we name our releases alphabetically after chess world champions. For the “B” release, we selected Mikhail Botvinnik, a Soviet chess champion from the 1950’s. The “C” release cycle is named after Jose Raul Capablanca, a Cuban world chess champion from 1921-1927.
I’m happy to report that we will be having a birds-of-a-feather meetup (aka “BoF”) at Red Hat Summit on Thursday, June 25 at 4pm EDT. A BoF is an informal gathering of people who come together to discuss a particular topic, in this case ManageIQ. We would like to use this opportunity to share some of the community highlights from the previous year, as well as discuss the upcoming roadmap and Capablanca release cycle.
